The East Midlands Sacred Harp Convention was held at the Village Hall in Kegworth, Leicestershire, United Kingdom on the fourth Sunday and Saturday before in April. Ian West called the class to order leading 52t. Jim Pfau offered the opening prayer.

Cath Tyler led 340 for the sick and house-bound: Mick Whiting, Stan Whiting, Mary Kellaway, James Oss, Arwen Lockley, Gladys Carlin, Peggy Hunsley, Yvonne Earl, Ann-Marie Hulme, Joan Stocks, Alan Fitch, Peter Whitehall, and Gary Smith. Helen Brown closed the memorial with prayer.
